Our star rating system is divided into 5 categories including the overall storyline or gist of the movie, the actor’s performances, video camerawork and effects, audio effects and music soundtrack, and the “engagement” factor which is a rating of how exciting, thrilling and captivating the movie is.
Each category is rated on a scale from 1 to 10 stars which are interpreted as:
1. Terrible
2. Bad
3. Poor
4. OK
5. Average
6. Good
7. Great
8. Excellent
9. Outstanding
10. Brilliant
We arrive at the overall rating by averaging the 5 categories together. In a nutshell, you can come away from our ratings with a sense of how good the movie is and in what areas the movie shines. This will give you a fantastic overview of the movie without divulging any spoilers.
